Bookings for rental huts for 2026 open on May 5th at Eraluvat.fi
Bookings of rental and shared rental huts, as well as other sites available for booking for 2026, will open on Monday May 5th 2025 at 9:00am on Eraluvat.fi.

Jussi's campfire shelter is located near the former airfield, next to the Kymppi block. The campfire shelter is an accessible fire-making place. The floor of the shelter is tiled. The shelter has tables and benches, as well as the possibility to use electricity. The electrical cabinet has three standard 16A sockets, one 16A power socket, one 32A power socket, and two 63A power sockets.
Reservations
Before reservation
Creating a user account is worthwhile. As a logged-in customer, you do not need to pay for your reservation immediately. You can also cancel unpaid reservations yourself. Create a user account.

After reservation
The reservation day begins at 2 pm and ends at 12 noon.
Bring along your invoice and proof of payment to the hut.
Attention entrepreneurs
A foreign company can place an order in the company's name only as an unregistered customer.
The use of the hut and other structures for business operations requires a permit from Metsähallitus. Learn about transfer of rights of use (metsa.fi).
Restrictions of the destination
The current permanent campsite has been designed and implemented in cooperation between Metsähallitus and the Finnish Scouts Association. The Scouts have an annual priority booking right to reserve the campsite facilities for the following year during the period 1.5.-31.10. After the priority booking period, anyone can make reservations for the campsite.

Every fishing and hunting area and hut has a page with a map window that shows the location of the destination. In case of permit areas, you can see the borders of the area. Did you know that you can choose what and how information is displayed on the map?
Arrival instructions
Evon hiking area is located in Häme, in the city of Hämeenlinna and the municipality of Padasjoki, along the Lammi - Padasjoki road (no. 53). The distance to Evo is about 20 km from Lammi, 25 km from Padasjoki, 50 km from Hämeenlinna, 70 km from Lahti, and 110 km from Tampere.
Please note that the Evo campsite is available for those who have booked it. The campsite's airfield serves as a parking area during events. For large camps, parking is arranged elsewhere. Winter maintenance is provided for Jeo's shelter, Jussi's shelter, and Käenpesä. Saukonojantie 27, Hämeenlinna.
Yard
Next to the campfire shelter is a building with four dry toilets and one accessible dry toilet, a wood shed, and electricity.
Keys
The key is in a coded key box at the cooking shelter. Instructions and the code will be sent by email after payment.
If the key is lost, we charge a 100 euro key fee.
Facilities
Drinking water
The campsite has wells whose water meets the requirements for drinking water.
Toilet
There is a toilet with suction emptying. Putting leftovers or litter into the toilet is prohibited.
Please bring your own toilet paper.
The site has a dry toilet that is emptied by suction and where food waste or garbage should not be disposed of.
Waste disposal
The campsite has a waste sorting station.
Other things to keep in mind
Please produce as little waste as possible.
During a wildfire warning, making a fire in the campfire shelter is prohibited.
Service driving is allowed to the sites along the road, but off-road driving is prohibited. The parking area is at the north end of the airfield.
Electric cars may not be charged in the area. A fine of 500 € for charging.
