Bookings for rental huts for 2027 open on May 5th at Eraluvat.fi
Bookings of rental and shared rental huts, as well as other sites available for booking for 2027, will open on Tuesday May 5th 2026 at 9:00am on Eraluvat.fi.
Jussi's campfire shelter is located near the former airfield, next to the Kymppi block in Evo Hiking Area. The fireplace shelter is an accessible fire site.
The campfire shelter can be rented for only your use.
Make all reservations under the same order if you book several huts or other sites for the same trip. According to the reservation terms, the minimum refundable amount per order is €30.
Make reservations under separate orders if you book huts or other sites for several different trips. Managing separate reservations is easier, and you will receive a separate due date for each one, 14 days before the start of the reservation.
The reservation day begins at 2 pm and ends at 12 noon.
Keep the order confirmation of your paid reservation with you. Check the information related to keys in the "Keys" section (located halfway down the page).
A foreign company can place an order in the company's name only as an unregistered customer.
When a company regularly takes its customers to destinations with hiking infrastructure maintained by Metsähallitus, it must have a cooperation agreement. Read more in the information bank for entrepreneurs.
The current permanent campsite has been designed and implemented in cooperation between Metsähallitus and the Finnish Scouts Association. The Scouts have an annual priority booking right to reserve the campsite facilities for the following year during the period 1.5.-31.10. After the priority booking period, anyone can make reservations for the campsite.

Eräluvat.fi has been renewed, and also the payment options for hut reservations have been updated. Read more about the options available for private customers and businesses.
Evon hiking area is located in Häme, in the city of Hämeenlinna and the municipality of Padasjoki, along the Lammi - Padasjoki road (no. 53). The distance to Evo is about 20 km from Lammi, 25 km from Padasjoki, 50 km from Hämeenlinna, 70 km from Lahti, and 110 km from Tampere.
The campsite's airfield serves as a parking area during events. For large camps, parking is arranged elsewhere.
Winter maintenance is provided for Jeo's shelter, Jussi's shelter, and Käenpesä. Saukonojantie 27, Hämeenlinna.

Next to the campfire shelter is a building with four dry toilets and one accessible dry toilet, a wood shed (not accessible), and electricity.
The campfire shelter is an accessible fire-making place. The floor of the shelter is tiled.
The shelter has tables and benches, as well as the possibility to use electricity. The electrical cabinet has three standard 16A sockets, one 16A power socket, one 32A power socket, and two 63A power sockets.
The key is in a key code box on the site's wall. The box is protected with a code. Instructions and the code are sent to you by e-mail after the payment.
Take lock de-icer with you just in case the box's lid is stuck due to frost. Metsähallitus does not have maintenance on site.
The campsite has wells whose water meets the requirements for drinking water.
Overnight stays are not allowed at the site.
There is a toilet with suction emptying. Putting leftovers or litter into the toilet is prohibited.
Please bring your own toilet paper.
There is a waste sorting point in the yard.
Please produce as little waste as possible.
During a wildfire warning, making a fire in the campfire shelter is prohibited.
Service driving is allowed to the sites along the road, but off-road driving is prohibited. The parking area is at the north end of the airfield.
Electric cars may not be charged in the area. A fine of 500 € for charging.
Each user of the site is responsible for keeping the site clean. The site does not have regular maintenance.
Please note that Metsähallitus sites are wilderness‑like and modest, and the indoor areas may contain, for example, insects, rodents, and their droppings.
