The campsite is located between Pitkänniemenjärvi and Ylinen Rautjärvi. The campsite is divided in two by a 0.5 km long former airfield.
Evon campsites offer excellent facilities for camps and events all year round. Each site has a dry toilet, a woodshed, and a fireplace. The campsites are suitable for groups of up to 100 people and also include access to common areas, such as a natural beach (though there is no official swimming area) and water points.
The campsite can be rented for only your use.
Creating a user account is worthwhile. As a logged-in customer, you do not need to pay for your reservation immediately. You can also cancel unpaid reservations yourself. Create a user account.

The reservation day begins at 2 pm and ends at 12 noon.

A foreign company can place an order in the company's name only as an unregistered customer.
When a company regularly takes its customers to destinations with hiking infrastructure maintained by Metsähallitus, it must have a cooperation agreement. Read more in the information bank for entrepreneurs.
The current permanent campsite has been designed and implemented in cooperation between Metsähallitus and the Finnish Scouts Association. The Scouts have an annual priority booking right to reserve the campsite facilities for the following year during the period 1.5.-31.10. After the priority booking period, anyone can make reservations for the campsite.

Evon hiking area is located in Häme, in the city of Hämeenlinna and the municipality of Padasjoki, along the Lammi - Padasjoki road (no. 53). The distance to Evo is about 20 km from Lammi, 25 km from Padasjoki, 50 km from Hämeenlinna, 70 km from Lahti, and 110 km from Tampere.
The campsite's airfield serves as a parking area during events. For large camps, parking is arranged elsewhere.
Winter maintenance is provided for Jeo's shelter, Jussi's shelter, and Käenpesä. Saukonojantie 27, Hämeenlinna.

There are a dry toilet, a woodshed, and a fireplace in the yard.
The terrain is varied and easy to navigate with sparse pine forest.
The key is in a key code box on the site's wall. The box is protected with a code. Instructions and the code are sent to you by e-mail after the payment.
Take lock de-icer with you just in case the box's lid is stuck due to frost. Metsähallitus does not have maintenance on site.
The campsite has wells whose water meets the requirements for drinking water.
Own accommodations.
There is a toilet with suction emptying. Putting leftovers or litter into the toilet is prohibited.
Please bring your own toilet paper.
There is a waste sorting point in the campsite.

Service driving is allowed to the sites along the road, but off-road driving is prohibited. The parking area is at the north end of the airfield.
Remember that making fires is prohibited during a forest fire warning.
Electric cars may not be charged in the area. A fine of 500 € for charging.
The area is maintained by Metsähallitus, Nature Services.
