Nikkarila is a hunting area located right next to the city of Pieksämäki, with a good forest road network. An easily accessible destination for a day or weekend hunting trip. The area consists of mostly pine-dominated ridge and heath terrain running between lakes and ponds, but there is also more varied terrain in the area. The permit area includes very few water bodies. The whole area is in forestry use. The area is split by the railway and highway 23. The area is also popular recreation spot among berry pickers, mushroom pickers, hikers and mountain bikers.

The wording of the terms is clarified, and the new structure better reflects the customer journey in the Eräluvat.fi service. The terms also specify how and where customers can place an order, how they benefit from logging in during the ordering process, and whom to contact in case of problems or changes.
The small predator permit includes restrictions on keeping a dog off-leash. Check all the restrictions carefully in the permit terms.
