Eräluvat.fi service purchase and cancellation terms update on 2 January 2026
Starting 2 January 2026, the purchase and cancellation terms of Metsähallitus’ Eräluvat.fi service update. The wording of the terms is clarified, and the new structure better reflects the customer journey in the Eräluvat.fi service. The terms also specify how and where customers can place an order, how they benefit from logging in during the ordering process, and whom to contact in case of problems or changes.
The updated terms apply to orders placed or paid from 2 January 2026 onwards.
The most significant changes affecting customers are the introduction of a billing surcharge and the removal of employer certificates from the list of accepted documents for cancelling fishing, hunting, and natural product permits.
The billing surcharge applies in cases where the customer specifically requests an invoice from customer service. The primary payment method for orders placed through customer service is a payment link. Invoices incur additional costs for Metsähallitus compared to other offered payment methods, and these costs are henceforth covered by the billing surcharge.
