Orivesi is among the best hazel grouse areas. It is a rare location, as the number of hazel grouse caught is nearing the number of black grouse caught. A multi-use location, especially for those hunting with a dog, which consists of no less than seven small areas. Hunters use their best assistants in a variety of ways on the site: in the terrain you often hear and see hare chases, pointers, hounds and retrievers at work. Compared to other locations, barking dogs are used less here.
