4013 Livojärvi

Lake Livojärvi is a very clear-watered vendace lake, with a bottom and shores that are mostly sandy. Both commercial and recreational net and lure fishing are practiced on the lake, and it is well-suited for trolling. The boat launch site is located at Säikänsalmi. The lake has plenty of vendace and trout, as well as whitefish and perch.

Restrictions
Fishing with long line and nets that have a mesh size of 31-69 mm is prohibited. Fishing is prohibited in Suottasalmi and between the Livojoki angling permit area and Tervaniemi. Check the restrictions carefully in the permit terms and water area directory.

Permits needed for fishing

Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
