The Suolijärvi trap permit area covers the state-owned water areas listed in the water area directory within the Suolijärvis fisheries region. The permit area includes approximately 2,400 hectares of water bodies.

Permits needed for fishing

Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
