Metsähallitus' southernmost small game destination in Loppi is popular despite its small size. The terrain varies from mires and sapling groves to an older commercial forest. Keihäsjärvi is a location for hunting black grouse, hazel grouse and hare especially.
Keihäsjärvi is a historical state land area where, according to the locals, Aleksis Kivi also hunted. In the area, a hunter can find old deer and wolf pits, former charcoal stacks and other signs of forest management and hunters of the past

The wording of the terms is clarified, and the new structure better reflects the customer journey in the Eräluvat.fi service. The terms also specify how and where customers can place an order, how they benefit from logging in during the ordering process, and whom to contact in case of problems or changes.

Please note that waterfowl hunting in the area is prohibited. There are no water areas in the small game hunting grounds.
Only short-term daily permits, are sold for the hunting area. You can also hunt small predators with short-term daily permits. Small predator permits are not sold to the area separately.
The Keihäsjärvi cabin is not owned by Metsähallitus (private area). Please remember to keep a safe distance from the inhabited cabin.
