2001 Tornion-Muonionjoki, state-owned waters

The Tornion-Muonionjoki trap permit area includes state-owned lakes and parts of lakes within the Tornio-Muonionjoki fisheries region. The Tornionjoki River, Muonionjoki River, and other running waters are not included in the trap permit area.

Permits needed for fishing

Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
