The Niemisjärvi Lakes permit area includes the Lakes Ylinen Niemisjärvi, Keskinen Niemisjärvi and Alinen Niemisjärvi with a total surface area of approximately 30 hectares. This fishing and hiking destination is especially suitable for the whole family. You can catch fish from both the shore or from a boat. The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbow trout and the hiking trails of Evo and the beach at Alinen Niemisjärvi will keep the whole family entertained. Children also have their own Lake Vähä-Koukkujärvi where they can practice fishing at peace with the help of mom and dad.
All persons under 18 years of age receive a 50% discount on the permits and persons under 15 years of age are allowed to share the same fishing quota, with the permission of their parent or legal guardian. The family permit costs twice as much and its fishing quota is twice as large.
You can buy licences directly from the online store and pay using the
most common payment methods.
Metsähallitus' fishing licences may also be purchased by phone. The service is open on
weekdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.
As of 1 January 2020, mobile permits are no longer available. This is due to mobile network operator’s decision not to provide the current service anymore.
Note! If you are actively ice fishing (i.e., fishing with a rod) while simultaneously having a tip-up on the ice, you must have paid the national fisheries management fee.
