Bookings for rental huts for 2026 open on May 5th at Eraluvat.fi
Bookings of rental and shared rental huts, as well as other sites available for booking for 2026, will open on Monday May 5th 2025 at 9:00am on Eraluvat.fi.

Tolosentalo rental hut (2 rooms, kitchenette) is located on the top floor of the service building of national park, near the entrance to Saarijärvi. It is the only electrified rental hut in Repovede National Park. It is suitable, for example, for researchers or photographers who need to charge the batteries of their devices. Both rooms have an air source heat pump, so the hut can be rented all year round.
A rental hut is a place for an overnight stay that can be rented for only your use.
Reservations
Before reservation
Creating a user account is worthwhile. As a logged-in customer, you do not need to pay for your reservation immediately. You can also cancel unpaid reservations yourself. Create a user account.
Tip: If you reserve huts for multiple trips, make separate orders for each trip. This way, you can choose to pay for each trip's reservation only 14 days before the start of the reservation. Changes won't be made to reservations made from May 5, 2025.
After reservation
The reservation day for shared rental huts, rental huts and other rental structures begins at 2 pm and ends at 12 noon.
Bring along your invoice and proof of payment to the hut.
By following the hut etiquette, you ensure that the use of hut is smooth. Learn about the hut etiquette (luontoon.fi).
Attention entrepreneurs
A foreign company can place an order in the company's name only as an unregistered customer.
The use of the hut and other structures for business operations requires a permit from Metsähallitus. Learn about transfer of rights of use (metsa.fi).

The hut is located right next to Kaakkurinkierros hiking trail.
Driving instructions
Nearest parking area (there’s no road access with any motor vehicle to the Tolosentalo hut):
Saarijärvi parking area, Kuismantie 990, Kouvola (Road 368). Space for approximately 60 cars. During the winter maintenance period, the parking area is smaller.

Yard
Hut is situated on the second floor of a service building of the national park. Access is via the metal spiral stairs located behind the building.
Drinking water well and a toilet with suction emptying in the yard.
Nearest campfire sites locates in Sukeltajaniemi, approximately 200 m from the hut. Lighting campfires is prohibited if wildfire warning is in effect.
Keys
The key is in a key code box on the hut wall. The box is protected with a code. Instructions and the code are sent to you by e-mail after the payment.
Take lock de-icer with you just in case the box's lid is stuck due to frost. Metsähallitus does not have maintenance on site.
Please note that the door will be get locked automatically. It’s recommended to keep the key in the key box.

Air source heat pumps in both rooms and also electric radiators in the other.

Refrigerator, electric stove and oven.
Coffeemaker and electric water boiler and microwave oven.
Kettles and pan.
Cutlery and tableware for six persons.
Drinking water
There is no running water in the hut.
Dish and drinking water can be pumped from well at the yard.
There is water buckets and canisters in the hut. Do dishes and wash at least 5 meters away from the well.
Staying overnight
Beds for 6-8 in six single beds, one double bed and one extra bed, mattresses, pillows and blankets.
Please bring your own linen or a sleeping bag.
Toilet
There is a toilet with suction emptying. Putting leftovers or litter into the toilet is prohibited.
Please bring your own toilet paper.
Waste disposal
There are no waste containers by the cabin. Visitors are advised to take their accumulated waste with them.
Metsähallitus follows the principles of litter-free hiking. Visitors are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about hiking without littering (nationalparks.fi).
Other things to keep in mind
Dogs and other pets are not allowed to this hut. Always keep your pets on leash in national parks.
Spices, candles, fire-making equipment and toilet paper are not included.
Please clean the hut before you leave.
Safety
Although Finland has a broad network for mobile phones, there are some areas in the park without signal. If this happens try to climb to a higher place or go into an open area. Check the mobile network coverage with your mobile phone operator before your trip.
There are fire alarms at wilderness huts, but we recommend to bring a 9 V battery and/or your own travel fire alarm with you.
