Rahustenaho-Levämäki is a quiet hunting area located on the border of North Savo and Kainuu. The area is mainly rolling heath formed by low hills. All large carnivores are regularly found in the area. The area is used for forestry, with the exception of the Talaskangas Nature Reserve located in the east-northeast parts. The protected area forms a significant part of the permit area and offers more untouched terrains.

The wording of the terms is clarified, and the new structure better reflects the customer journey in the Eräluvat.fi service. The terms also specify how and where customers can place an order, how they benefit from logging in during the ordering process, and whom to contact in case of problems or changes.
There are hunting restrictions in this permit area.
The hunting area includes the Talaskangas Nature Reserve, where elk and small game hunting is allowed. Wild boar hunting in the Talaskangas Nature Reserve is prohibited (259/1994 Decree on the Talaskangas Nature Reserve). In the Talaskangas area, open fires are only allowed in designated places. You can only make a fire using firewood reserved for this purpose. Lighting open fires is prohibited everywhere when a forest fire warning is in force. The use of camp stoves is also permitted in other areas (the care and use plan of Talaskangas Nature Reserve, Talaskangas Nature Reserve regulation 1548/623/2006).
The small predator permit includes restrictions on keeping a dog off-leash.
