Small game hunting area

The hunting location, which consists of four areas, starts in the mires on the northern edge. The southern parts have drier fens and plenty of small ponds. It is an interesting hunting destination with a good forest road network. In the midst of hunting for grouse and hare, several hunters visit the location to hunt waterfowl.

Keep in mind in this area
Of the four areas, the easternmost parcel contains the Karstula Korkeakangas wind farm. Hunting is allowed within the wind farm area, but hunters must take care not to shoot toward the wind turbine structures. During icy conditions, however, it is advisable to avoid moving near the turbines, as snow and ice may fall from them. For more information, see Hunter's information bank.
The beaver and small predator permit includes restrictions on keeping a dog off-leash.
