A hunting location in the northern parts of Central Finland, consisting of three separate areas. Valkeismäki-Purala is an excellent location for a hunter who is looking for quieter areas to explore. The landscapes are varied, even wilderness-like. The valleys between the hills are dotted by small ponds and watery mires. The varied terrain of the area favors capercaillie, black grouse and hazel grouse. Hares as well are often encountered by grouse hunters. A comprehensive forest road network runs through the area, so the various parts of the area are easily accessible.

The small predator permit includes restrictions on keeping a dog off-leash.
