Sales arrangements

The sale of grouse hunting permits is carried out in two phases. The sale starting in the second week of June continues until August 15. During this period, permits are sold for September 10–October 10. The remaining permits are sold in August-September after the results of game population density are published. This way, the total number of permits always follows the game populations. In the autumn sale, permits can be purchased for the entire hunting season.

A maximum number of permits is defined for both the entire hunting season and for individual hunting days.

In the online service, one person (i.e., the person who orders the permits) can reserve permits for up to seven (7) days. If you pay for your permits immediately, you can purchase permits for up to five people for seven days (5 * 7 days) with the same order.

The hunter must always check the permit terms for allowed game species and quotas, among other things.

Youth permits

Persons under 18 years of age can buy a permit at half price.

A person under 15 years of age can hunt small game without their own permit within the quota of a person who is at least 18 years old and has a permit to possess a firearm. The hunter under 15 years of age must be under their immediate supervision.
