Fisheries management fees for 2027
Starts 30.11.2026 09:00
Ends 31.12.2027 23:59
Annual, weekly and daily fisheries management fees will go on sale on Monday, 30 November.
The fisheries management fee is a mandatory basic fee for fishers aged 18–69 who fish with lures or traps or catch crayfish. This means that you always need to pay the fisheries management fee when fishing with a spinning rod, nets or traps, for example. The exception is fishers who have turned 65 by 31 December 2023.
The fisheries management fee entitles you to fish with one rod almost everywhere in Finland. If you fish with several rods or with traps or catch crayfish, you also need a permit from the owner of the water area. Fishing permits for state-owned waters are available from the Eräluvat.fi service.
Payment with Epassi and Edenred is being prepared
The employer-provided sports and culture benefit is being extended to fishing and hunting, and in future you will also be able to pay the fisheries management fee with Epassi and Edenred.
We will provide more information about the schedule in November on the Eräluvat.fi news page.
