Angling permits for large permit areas in Northern Lapland in 2027

Changes will be made to the large angling permit areas in Finland’s three northernmost municipalities in 2027. The permit areas include numerous small ponds, lakes and streams, some of which will be removed.

More detailed information about the changes will be added to this page in December 2026. The maps of the permit areas will also be updated at the end of 2026.

Please note:

• Angling permits for river destinations in Enontekiö, Inari and Utsjoki will go on sale later in the spring, expected in April.
• Trap permits for Enontekiö, Inari and Utsjoki will go on sale at the same time as trap permits elsewhere in Finland, on 15 December 2026.
