The sauna of Selkä-Sarvi is located at the northern end of Selkä-Sarvi Island, in the Bothnian Bay National Park. There is no land connection or boat transport to the island. Please consider the ice conditions when heading to Selkä-Sarvi in winter. There is Selkä-Sarvi rental hut in the same yard.

Reservations
Creating a user account is worthwhile. As a logged-in customer, you do not need to pay for your reservation immediately. You can also cancel unpaid reservations yourself. Create a user account.
Notes for entrepreneurs: The use of the hut and other structures for business operations requires a permit from Metsähallitus. Learn about transfer of rights of use (metsa.fi).
Bring along your invoice and proof of payment.
Arrival instructions
The boat landing site is located at the nearby excursion harbour.
Please consider the ice conditions when heading to Selkä-Sarvi in winter. There is no marked route to the island.
Keys
The sauna is always open.
Facilities
Heating and lighting: There is no electricity in the sauna. The sauna and washing water are heated with firewood. Bring a headlamp.
Washing: No running water. Washing water from the pump in the sauna (sea water) and heated in a water cauldron. There are wash basins in the sauna for cleaning. Bring your own towel.
Sauna schedule
The sauna is available for use by all hikers. You should be considerate of others and not stay too long in the sauna.
During peak seasons you should agree bathing times with other hikers, for example, take turns between men and women at alternate hours.
The sauna cannot be reserved for private use.
