Bookings for rental huts for 2026 open on May 5th at Eraluvat.fi
Bookings of rental and shared rental huts, as well as other sites available for booking for 2026, will open on Monday May 5th 2025 at 9:00am on Eraluvat.fi.
In the 18th century, a pilot station was established on Fäliskäret. The harbour is a popular excursion harbour. The services of the rental huts on the island Fäliskäret are primarily aimed at the guided groups and boating people the Kvarken Archipelago. Two flats "West" and "Söderholm" as well as the boatyard building "Docket" have been renovated as accommodation areas. A dining hall for groups and a sauna is also situated in the boatyard building.
The two appartments "West" and "Söderholm" are situated in a one-hundred- year old house that used to accommodate pilots: Both appartments consist of a bedroom for 5 people and a kitchen. Their size is about 60 m2. The appartments can be booked separately. The rental huts can only be reached by boat.
A rental hut is a place for an overnight stay that can be rented for only your use.
This hut can only be rented through the below-mentioned company.

The Rönnskär rental huts are situated in the Malax municipality (malax.fi), on the island of Fäliskäret in the outer Bergö archipelago. The distance by boat to Fäliskäret from Replot is about 30 km and from Borgå about 23 km.
The rental huts can only be reached by boat.
A marked route leads to the huts.
Rönnskär is featured in the excursion harbour catalogue.
The closest harbour accessible by car is Bredhällan, an old fishing harbour situated on the western part of the island of Bergö.
To reach Bredhällan, follow road no. 673 28 km south from Vaasa towards Malax. Then turn onto road no. 6732 toward Bergö. A free ferry connection (finferries.fi/en) goes to Bergö. Drive through Bergö village towards Bredhällan harbour.
The harbour is equipped with a boat ramp.
Vaasa is easily accessible by bus (matkahuolto.fi) and train (vr.fi).
There is one daily bus departure from Vaasa to Bergö.

A boatyard building, two pilot cottages, a sauna, a woodshed, a sheltered campfire site and four dry toilets.
Conference rooms
The conference room is situated in the boatyard building
The conference room is equipped with wooden tables with benches and a Flip chart
The walls of the conference room are used for a photo exhibition.
The key is in a key code box on the hut wall. The box is protected with a code. Instructions and the code are sent to you by e-mail after the payment.
Take lock de-icer with you just in case the box's lid is stuck due to frost. Metsähallitus does not have maintenance on site.
The boatyard building is heated by a stove.
Both pilot cottages have 2 tiled stoves for heating.
The huts have firewood for heating. Please use firewood sparingly. Please note that it takes some time before the hut is properly warm.
The huts have no electricity. We recommend using a headlamp, which leaves your hands free to do chores around the hut. For safety reasons, candles must be burned on a non-combustible surface and constantly monitored.
The boatyard building is equipped with a gas stove.
The pilot cottages are equipped with a gas stove and a wood-burning stove.
There is no running water in the hut.
There is a well on the island, but the water quality has not been tested.
The boatyard building contains a bedroom that sleeps 8 people.
Both pilot cottages have a bedroom sleeping 5 people.
The beds are equipped with mattresses, pillows and blankets.
Please bring your own linen or a sleeping bag.
The sauna is situated in the boatyard building.
There is room for 5 people in the sauna, the sauna is equipped with a wood-fired sauna stove and a wood-fired hot water boiler.
Also swimming possibilities.
There is a dry toilet near the hut. Please bring your own toilet paper.
A waste disposal terminal maintained by the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association (keepthearchipelagotidy.fi) is situated by the rental huts.
Pets are allowed in the rental huts, but they must be kept on a leash while on the island.
Keep to the trails during the period 1.5 – 15.7 in order not to to disturb the birdlife during the nesting season.
Please clean the hut before you leave.
The Finnish Lifeboat Institution's shed is equipped with a fire pump and hoses.
Although Finland has a broad network for mobile phones, there are some areas in the park without signal. If this happens try to climb to a higher place or go into an open area. Check the mobile network coverage with your mobile phone operator before your trip.
There are fire alarms at wilderness huts, but we recommend to bring a 9 V battery and/or your own travel fire alarm with you.
