Reservations
Creating a user account is worthwhile. As a logged-in customer, you do not need to pay for your reservation immediately. You can also cancel unpaid reservations yourself. Create a user account.
The use of the hut and other structures for business operations requires a permit from Metsähallitus. Learn about transfer of rights of use (metsa.fi).
Booking period: April 1st – October 31st
Reservation day: Starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 2:00 PM the following day.
Arrival instructions
From the north: Turn off Highway 54 (Riihimäki – Forssa) toward Loppi. Drive through Loppi center toward Pilpala for about 10 km. Turn left onto an unmarked gravel road from Pilpalantie. Opposite the junction, you’ll see a Komio Nature Reserve information board and a sign for Luutasuo. Drive 200 m on the gravel road and turn left at the first intersection. Continue about 1 km. The campsite is on the right.
From the south: From Road 132 (Klaukkala – Loppi), turn left in Läyliäinen toward Karkkila (Road 134). Drive 4 km and turn right toward Pilpala (Road 2832). After 7 km, turn right onto Pilpalantie. Drive 5 km north and turn right onto an unmarked gravel road. Opposite the junction is a Komio Nature Reserve information board and a sign for Luutasuo. Drive 200 m and turn left at the first intersection. Continue about 1 km. The campsite is on the right.
Yard
Camping space for up to 80 people
Five dry toilets, woodshed, and compost bin for biodegradable waste.
Facilities
Cooking: Cooking shelter and campfire site. No wood-burning stove in the shelter. Large groups should bring their own camping stoves for heating food.
Drinking water: No water point available at the campsite.
Waste disposal: No waste bins on site. Please take all waste with you. Biodegradable waste goes into the compost.
Other things to keep in mind
Only a stove or sauna heater may be used for heating in the tent sauna. Open fires are not allowed. Bring your own firewood for tent stoves.
At the end of your stay, dry toilet waste containers must be emptied into the compost. The cooking shelter, fire ring, woodshed, and surrounding areas (e.g., tent sauna spot) must be cleaned. A €200 fee will be charged for any extra maintenance or cleaning.
During a forest fire warning, open fires are strictly prohibited—even at designated campfire sites.
