Trap permit 2026, net (height over 3 m) and other traps

Trap permit is specific to the fishing or boating party, and it is valid for a calendar year.

Please note that net fishing is completely prohibited in large parts of the permit area to protect the Saimaa ringed seal. Check the water area directory and other restrictions in the permit terms before purchasing the permit.
