Selkälahti rental hut in the Inari Hiking Area will be withdrawn from use at the beginning of 2027. The hut can be booked in the Eräluvat.fi service until 31 December 2026.
The withdrawal of the rental hut from the reservation system is part of Parks & Wildlife Finland’s prioritisation work. The Finnish Border Guard transferred the hut to Metsähallitus in 2007. Negotiations on returning the hut to the Finnish Border Guard are currently ongoing.
