The Wildlife Management and Research Conference (Riistapäivät) is an annual seminar for the Finnish wildlife consortium and for wildlife research. The conference is now organised for the 30th time and it takes place in Seinäjoki during 15-16 January, 2019. This year the focus is on Changes in Wildlife Management.

The theme will be discussed in two sessions: on Tuesday we will concentrate on climate change and interaction between species. On Wednesday we will take a look at the role of hunting and hunters in our ever-changing society.

To follow and participate in the discussion on social media, use #riistapäivät.

Register and book accommodation well in advance

The deadline for registration is 31 December, 2018. Two local hotels offer accommodation for the participants at a discounted price. It is recommended that accommodation is booked well in advance.
