Daily permits for gamefowl hunting will be sold on a gradual, regional basis beginning on Monday 10 June 2019 at 9.00 am. The regional quotas are available now.
The eagerly anticipated sale of fishing permits for Utsjoki, Inari, and Enontekiö begins next week. Residents can purchase their seasonal permits for 40 euros from Wednesday, May 22 9:00 onwards. Non-residents can begin buying location-specific daily permits from Tuesday, May 21 at 9:00 onwards.
Seasonal permits for locals and daily permits for tourists will become available next week. The exact date will be published this week.

The Wildlife Management and Research Conference (Riistapäivät) is an annual seminar for the Finnish wildlife consortium and for wildlife research. The conference is now organised for the 30th time and it takes place in Seinäjoki during 15-16 January, 2019. This year the focus is on Changes in Wildlife Management.

Fisheries management fees for 2019 will be made available for purchase tomorrow, 1 November. Each person purchasing an annual permit (good for one calendar year) will also receive Suomu magazine. The fisheries management fee is mandatory for all persons 18-64 years of age who are fishing by means other than ice fishing, hook and line fishing or fishing with a simple herring rig. Proceeds from the fisheries management fee are used to manage and maintain Finland's fishing waters and fish stocks.
Fishing permits for the upcoming summer for Inari and Enontekiö become available on May 3, and for Utsjoki on May 9. Some minor changes have been made to some of the fishing destinations.
